Sophos fake alert error

Sophos have issued a new update to their Anti-Virus platform for Shh/Updater-B and used with their Live Protection system has caused a False Positive issue that has affected many customers. This effect has users encountering false attacks and infections for Sophos own files and folders as well as Adobe and Google Updaters.

An update to address this issue was released and published at 21:32 (UTC) on Wednesday, 19 September. This resolved the underlying cause for this False Positive however customers may still be experiencing issues.
